atom3
atom 3 is an electronic music trio featuring multi-instrumentalist and sound designer Paul Geluso, guitarist and composer Orlando Legname and drummer and composer Joe Pignato.The group’s performances are marked by extended improvisation, atmospheric audio, sonic discharges inspired by musique concrete and the inventive use of hyper instrumentation. atom3 often collaborates with visual artists adding video, projected light and other visual components to their programs. .

Cem Aydogan
Cem is a sculptor, film-maker, writer and entrepreneur.  His work has been exhibited in his native Turkey and in the United States. He has written for a variety of contexts: novels, screenplays and short-stories.

Michael Cain
One of the best musicians I know, an equally amazing teacher at New England Conservatory and at the Hoboken Charter School where he runs the Digital Playground a program he and I started together seven years ago.

Bill Colangelo
A long time friend and collaborator,  Bill has premiered a number of my pieces in New York and Texas.  He is an amazing improviser and a terrific professor.  He teaches multi-media and music at North West Vista College in San Antonio.

Charlie Dahan
A record producer, writer and all-around music industry expert, Charlie is a friend and colleague. He's particularly knowledgeable about recording industry history, the story of Starr Gennett, and his two extra-musical passions: ornithology and the New York Yankees.

Jack DeJohnette
A musician of immeasurable influence. His drumming is among the most important of our time. His groundbreaking recordings featuring musicians and idioms from across the global spectrum are among my favorites.

Joseph DiGiorgio 1931-2000
An American artist whose work in landscapes was marked by a filmic-pointillism and sweeping sense of space, movement and light. This site is a remarkable resource featuring commentary from the artist himself as well as critical reviews and up-to-date information about collections and exhibits. The gallery section features several excellent reproductions of the artist's work. Mr. DiGiorgio, a cousin of Joe Pignato, passed away in May of 2000.

Peter Erskine
A drummer of sublime taste and sophistication and a wonderful guy to boot. Check out his label Fuzzy Music
for great recordings and instructional materials.

Alejandro Escuer
An amazing flautist who has contributed to the body of extended technique for this instrument as a player, composer and scholar.  I've had the pleasure of performing with Alejandro in the mid 90s and look forward to future collaborations.  He is currently a Professor at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

Doug Fried
Doug, one of my closest friends since childhood, is an excellent guitarist with an inate musicality and ample sensitivity. He is a fine writer and a wonderful soloist with whom I've enjoyed years of musical collaboration. This links you to his page at IUMA where you can listen to his original tune "All About Love".

Paul Geluso
An extraordinarily creative sound artist and improviser. Paul is one of the best engineers and producers I've worked with. His own sound art is rich and evocative. We are engaged in a series of musical, academic and creative projects.

Dinu Ghezzo
Dinu was my teacher, advisor, friend and a great inspiration.
He is the Director of the NYU Composition Program in the Steinhardt School of Education. Dinu has encouraged the creativity and camaraderie of countless musicians.  His performances, events in their own right, are rare happenings and I've been fortunate to perform in numerous premieres of his pieces.

Yusef Lateef
Yusef Lateef was a teacher, mentor and major influence early in my development as a composer. I had the priviledge of studying composition with him while an undergraduate and playing in his big band at Hampshire College. Much of what he taught me is still central to my work as a composer, improviser and teacher. His site contains links to his label YAL Records and essays on Autophysiopsychic music.

Dr. Orlando Legname
Orlando is a friend and colleague. He is an amazing musician, composer and conductor
as well as a noted expert in the field of audio production.
He is the Director of the Audio Arts Program at the State University of New York at Oneonta. In additon to teaching Audio Arts, Dr. Legame is an accomplished composer and guitarist. He has developed a system for composition and analysis that he calls "Density Degree of Intervals. His works have been premiered in his native Brazil, The United States and Europe.

Charles Lloyd
One of improvised music's most singular voices. Charles' compositions, soloing and band leadership have all been of great inspiration to me and countless other improvisers.
His site is also one of the best artist sites on the Web with excellent resources documenting Lloyd's musical catalog and related works like the documentaries "Memphis is in Egypt" and "The Making of 'Which Way is East'".

Dr. Sasha Matson
Sasha is a friend, colleague, a wonderful composer and an adventurous musician of great talent. Additionaly, he is a noted reviewer of audiophile equipment. He has written music for a variety of ensembles and contexts and has scored feature films. I've had the priviledge of playing with Sasha and helping record sketches from his opera in progress "Cooperstown". Recordings of his music are available on the AudioQuest and New Albion Labels.

Bill Mierisch
An old friend I've recently been reunited with and along with Doug Fried, one of my oldest musical collaborators.  A teacher, musical scholar, composer and arranger, Bill is a terrific musician with infinite talent.

Luca Mundaca
Luca is a wonderful singer, songwriter and guitarist from Brazil now living in the States. Drawing on the best of folk, pop, jazz and Brazilian influences, Luca captivates her audiences with intoxicating melodies and her mesmerizing voice.

Juan Perez, MD
Dr. Juan Perez is a physician and abstract painter. The main body of his work consists of oils and acrylics on canvas but nothing is off limits. His fearless approach to abstract painting has contributed to a vast array of styles ranging from purely abstract to abstract botanical and landscape representations. Much of his work is inspired by and reflects his admiration for the purity and beauty of nature.

U.K. Rattay
Ulli, a superb guitarist and songwriter, is a member of the ground breaking group Victory of the Better Man.  He is a long-time friend and associate from the music business.  He currently runs Rattay Music, a successful music business consultancy.

Andrew Tarr
Enormous talent in many areas. Some 25 years ago we embarked on a series of public jams - "the Duck Pond sessions" - performing Drew's amazingly creative and witty songs with then state of the art equipment - he with one of the first Casio portable keyboards and I with a set of Synsonic drums. Andrew is an actor, musician, composer, sound artist, and sound and video editor / producer. Most recently he's come to be known via his TV gig as LA's City Guy. Steve Tibbets
A wonderful guitarist, Tibbets makes great records that are virtual landscapes of texture and color. He’s also terrifically funny.

Turquoise Barn
A wonderfully eclectic meeting place and market for art, vintage articles, design, coffee, tea and other pleasures. A must visit if you find yourself in the Catskill Mountains, Delaware County.
